The Junto

Here's where the name, "Junto" comes from:

"The Junto, also known as the Leather Apron Club, was a club for mutual improvement established in 1727 by Benjamin Franklin in Philadelphia. The Leather Apron Club's purpose was to debate questions of morals, politics, and natural philosophy, and to exchange knowledge of business affairs."

I envision this resurrection of the Junto as a virtual civic club dedicated to the philosophical pursuit of truth and justice, as well as a venue for sharing more pragmatic ideas about personal, community, state, and national improvement.

Propose ideas for amusement and/or serious discussion here. Please share your thoughts about how to improve Indynoggin.com, as well. The forum will be moderated, but I want to keep the "tent of inclusion" as wide as possible while keeping things constructive. I am open to hearing suggestions about how to make our discussions as fruitful and mutually beneficial as possible.
