Antifa
Antifa is a violent, intolerant, far-Left political movement that foments insurrection and anarchy to pave the way for a socialist revolution. Wearing masks and dressing in "black bloc" garb for anonymity, Antifa militants regularly engage in lawless behavior. Exploiting chaos and power vacuums created by large unruly crowds of sympathetic neo-Marxist Black Lives Matter "protesters," Antifa routinely instigates and participates in acts of mob violence, rioting, arson, and destruction of public and private property.
This violent anarcho-communist organization is determined to abolish American law enforcement on the absurd premise that kind, gentle, vigilante communist insurrectionists and black nationalist militants would do a better job of policing than actual police in a constitutional democracy. See what happens when they put that ridiculous hypothesis to an empirical test in the police-free Seattle Capital Hill Autonomous Zone (CHAZ), which "useful idiots" on the Left "revisioned" as the Capital Hill Organized Protest (CHOP).
The imposition of intersectional socialism will necessarily require overthrowing (or gradually transforming, if unsuccessful) "oppressive, fascist, white supremacist institutions (i.e., constitutional democracy and market-oriented economies).
In the place of such institutions, they aim to impose a "temporary" (i.e., perpetual) dictatorship of the proletariate (or, rather, in today's neo-Marxism, a dictatorship of the intersectionally-oppressed), which Marxists claim will eventually (although it never has, in all of the many times it's been tried) inevitably lead to the manifestation of a utopian, stateless communist system (it won't).
If you want some insight into the "intersectional socialist" dystopia that Antifa would impose on all of us, you should take a look at how these narcissistic sociopaths behave where they hold power or are given what the Beastie Boys might consider a "license to ill."
For just a few of many examples, take a look at intersectional socialist philosophy put into policy and practice by Portland Antifa/BLM militants celebrating the murder of a peaceful pro-Trump demonstrator, the student takeover of Evergreen State College, and the anarcho-tyranny in the Seattle CHAZ/CHOP).
Under the euphemistic banners of "antifascism," "antiracism," "Black Lives Matter," and other unobjectionable slogans, Antifa militants serve as the foot soldiers and enforcers of intersectional socialism. By conflating constitutional democracy with fascism and white supremacy and universal liberty with perpetual oppression, the movement creates a false choice in which one is either with the "good guys" or against them. That is, it coerces people to uncritically accept a false binary of "antifascist" and "antiracist" good guys vs. "fascist" and "racist" bad guys.
The group is at least implicitly supported by many far-Left academics, journalists, and politicians. Some have directly participated in Antifa-affiliated riots & acts of political violence. "Useful idiots" in the academy, mainstream media, and among Democrat party leaders excuse or provide rhetorical cover for the movement, effectively serving as its propagandists. A Brief History of Antifa: Part I
- "Empirical and anecdotal evidence shows that Antifa is, in fact, highly networked, well-funded and has a global presence. It has a flat organizational structure with dozens and possibly hundreds of local groups."
- "Antifa's stated long-term objective, both in America and abroad, is to establish a communist world order. In the United States, Antifa's immediate aim is to bring about the demise of the Trump administration."
- "A common tactic used by Antifa in the United States and Europe is to employ extreme violence and destruction of public and private property to goad the police into a reaction, which then 'proves' Antifa's claim that the government is 'fascist.'"
A Brief History of Antifa: Part II
- "'The only long-term solution to the fascist menace is to undermine its pillars of strength in society grounded not only in white supremacy but also in ableism, heteronormativity, patriarchy, nationalism, transphobia, class rule, and many others.' — Mark Bray, 'Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook,' 2017."
- "'They didn't do this on their own. Somebody's paying for this.... What Antifa is doing is they're basically hijacking the black community as their army. They instigate, they antagonize, they get these young black men and women to go out there and do stupid things, and then they disappear off into the sunset.' — Bernard Kerik, former commissioner of the New York City Police Department."
- "The coordinated violence raises questions about how Antifa is financed. The Alliance for Global Justice (AFGJ) is an organizing group that serves as a fiscal sponsor to numerous radical left-wing initiatives, according to Influence Watch, a research group that collects data on advocacy organizations, foundations and donors.... The Open Society Foundations, Tides Foundation, Arca Foundation, Surdna Foundation, Public Welfare Foundation, and the Brightwater Fund have all made contributions to AFGJ, according to Influence Watch."
- "One of the groups funded by AFGJ is called Refuse Fascism ... an offshoot of the Radical Communist Party (RCP).... The group's slogan states: 'This System Cannot Be Reformed, It Must Be Overthrown!'"
